Group programs offers a unique opportunity to connect with others who may share similar challenges, providing a space for mutual understanding, empathy, and encouragement.  Whether you’re seeking support, insight and understanding, or simply a sense of belonging, our group programs offer a safe and confidential environment where you can explore, learn, and thrive together.

Some of the benefits of group programs include;

  •  Connecting with others facing similar challenges;
  • Mutual understanding and encouragement from other participants;
  • Gain insights and coping strategies from a range of perspectives within the group;
  • A more affordable option: Access quality psychological supports at a more affordable rate compared to individual sessions;
  • Accountability: Stay motivated and engaged with the support of peers and therapists;
  • Normalization: Reduce stigma and feel validated by sharing experiences in a safe space;
  • Long-term Support Network: Build lasting connections with group members for ongoing support beyond sessions;
  • Supplement individual sessions with additional information and input from others in the group setting;

We are always looking for new ways to innovate and offer therapeutic programs in a group setting and believe that group work can be a great alternative for those who may not want to work 1:1 with a coach or therapist. At present, we are offering the EXMODE program, for people who may be struggling with depression.

Exercise Motivation for Depression – EXMODE

EXMODE is designed to guide people through the particular issues and challenges that depression presents when attempting to make healthy lifestyle changes.  The program gives participants to better understanding of the mind-body connection and the psychology of motivation, and helps them develop a set of skills and tools that can make pursuit of exercise more sustainable and satisfying.

The EXMODE group program is a 6-week small group program based on the latest research in psychological and neurological science that combines cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) based tools and strategies to help you understand and overcome difficulties with motivation to exercise. Our program is run in small groups, so you can connect with others who are going through similar experiences and receive support and encouragement along the way.

By choosing exercise as the target goal in the program, we aim to provide you with the tools and strategies to develop a sustainable exercise routine that works for you. In addition to the mental health benefits of exercise, incorporating exercise into your daily routine can also provide a range of extra benefits in relation to your overall health and well-being, although our primary focus in the EXMODE program is on enhancing the mental health treatment benefits of exercise.
